Germantown teen volunteers between the ages of 12-18 are being sought to assist the Safety town staff June 19 – July 2 (week days only, program starts on a Thursday and ends on a Wed.). The teens will assist with the instruction of ingoing kindergarten & 1st graders in a wide variety of safety topics. Volunteering for this community program is a very FUN and rewarding experience. A commitment to helping out for one of the three sessions for the entire program is requested. Teens must register to volunteer for Safety Town by Tuesday, May 7th on a first come, first serve basis. Forms are available at the Recreation Department. A letter of confirmation will be sent to those selected by the Safety Town Committee. A mandatory orientation meeting will be held for volunteers on Wednesday, June 18th from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. a Mac Arthur School Art Room.
