13th ANNUAL EASTER EGG HUNT

HOP on over to Firemen's Park for the Germantown Recreation Department's 12th Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 31st, 2007. The hunt is open to Germantown School District Children, ages 1-7 years old. The hunt will start promptly at 1:00 p.m. SHARP and is free to participants. Children just need to bring a basket or bucket to collect eggs and candy. Children will be divided into the following age categories: Ages 1-3, 4 & 5, and 6 & 7. When you enter the park look for signs designating your age group area.

Inclement weather date is Saturday, April 7th

 

Middle School Intramurals

Are you in 6th,7th or 8th grade and interested in playing team sports?

If yes, we have the program that will allow you to participate in a variety of different main stream and alternative sports during the 2006/2007 school year. Every four weeks the sports will change to give participants a wide variety of options. For the 4th Quarter the program will run Tuesdays April 3 - May 29 from 3:15 - 4:45 p.m. at Kennedy Middle School. Sports featured will be Disc Golf, Ultimate Frisbee and/or Kickball. The fee is $25/Res & School Dist. Res.

Do you have slightly used or new items you would like to get rid
of???... Please DONATE THEM to the Recreation Department!!! We are in
need of the items listed below to use for our programs. If you have any
of these items please call (250-4710) or stop by the Recreation
Department to drop them off or let us know what you can give.
Thanks very much! All items must be in new or good condition if
possible.

9 x 12 Construction Paper (all colors), Glue sticks, Gallon and sandwich
size ziploc baggies, 3 & 5 oz. Dixie cups, Yarn, Embroidery Floss (all
colors), Watercolors, Markers, Colored pencils, Q-Tips, Cotton Balls,
Paper plates, Plastic forks, knives, spoons, cups, Construction Paper
(all colors), Masking tape, Digital Cameras, Toaster Ovens (2), Sponges,
Folders
